261 COMMUNITY RUN

In 1967, Kathrine Switzer challenged marathon norms, registering as K.V. Switzer to break the male-exclusive Boston Marathon tradition. Despite facing resistance and attempts to remove her, Switzer's perseverance paved the way for women in sports.

Fast forward to the 1984 Olympics, exactly 40 years ago, where the Women's Marathon debuted—a significant milestone in the fight for gender equality.

Join the woman-led 261 Community Run to celebrate this iconic moment, powered by 'Little Cup' and ‘Atlas Collectif’ , embracing empowerment and redefining possibilities! All genders welcome of course! Register now! All details in the bio!
